To add onto what Coach Doug said.

All relevant  meet information with be as an attachment in the Event calendar. See attached screen shots.

in addition the app will list your family, swimmer, jobs assigned, events your swimmer is entered in. Complete list of all events. At around 6pm on the day of the meets the approximate time for each heat will be listed. 
If you have the pro version (it can be shared with who is in your family) alerts will sent to your phone about upcoming heats. Results will be sent to the phone.

Results will be also added to the calendar event.

Parents should be checking the team site and your app for information. It is the most accurate and quickest way to access the information.
